Orlicaine is convenient and allows assistant to apply anesthetic; more potent and longer lasting than others.
We use it on patients that need deep cleanings or implant delivery to help reduce discomfort.
We also use Orlicaine as a pre-anesthesia topical to alleviate patient anxiety from the injection. Many of our patients say that they don't feel the needles at all and that has helped them to come back and finished the dental treatment.
Orlicaine is a great addition to my practice. Orlicaine has been effective by itself in getting patients comfortable for SRP treatment without injections.
It has also helped in achieving the pain free injection as a topical before local anesthesia injections. I'm glad to have orlicaine as another tool to help provide excellent pain free care at the office.

Biggest fear was a shot! There was no need for a shot with Orlicaine used.
